For Sale Mercedes SL320 Limited Edition Designo 2001  

The Mercedes-Benz SL Class was once considered the ultimate soft-top for prestige, comfort and effortless touring. The body is smoothly styled - with cleanly sculpted panelling and a low-sloping nose. 2001 "Y" registration.  I have owned this car since 2006.  Polished every month. Tyres all in excellent condition.

Finished in special order designo almandine black metallic (as you can see in the photos it is not black, more of a burgandy) with contrasting two tone black & almandine designo embossed leather interior. Only 70366 warranted miles from new with full Mercedes service history. Last full service 7,495 miles ago where all spark plugs were replaced, 2 new tyres fitted and Full A Service.  Since this service new "Red Stuff" brake pads fitted.  Excellent stopping power. The Redstuff brake pad has been tested at the UK   Motor Industries Research Association (MIRA) , in tests the Redstuff brake pads has reduced car stopping distance by almost 50 feet from 100 MPH offering a staggering 30% brake improvement.

The car is in excellent condition for what is a 10 year old car.  There are some stone chips on front bumper and a few scuffs as you would expect with a car of this age.  The bonnet is in excellent condition. The only negative is on the front wings there is some paint bubbling.
