Ken Abram has had a passion for personal development since he attended a Dale Carnegie course in 1987.  After many years he first attended a Tony Robbins seminar in 1993 "The Tools of Strategic Influence" he then attended Tony Robbins "Unleash the Power Within" seminar in Cardiff in 1999.  He immediately enrolled for Mastery University which consisted of three events Date with Destiny a 4 day event in Florida, Life Mastery a 10 day event in Hawaii and Wealth Mastery in London.

Whilst in Florida on Date with Destiny he saw a fellow Cardiff business man, Giovanni Malacrino and together they agreed they wanted to have a quality peer group back home in Cardiff.  They decided to set up Yes Group Cardiff in February 2000.  Attendees include both graduates of Tony Robbins events and many other experts in personal development including Brian Tracy, Jay Abraham, Jack Black, Jim Rohn, Napoleon Hill, Dr Stephen Covey, Eric Edmeades and Joe Drew.

David Palmer takes the minutes for our meetings, and you can read those notes on our website.

David is a serving police officer, involved in the investigation of fraud. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Investigators and is actively involved with them as their Education and Training Chair. In that capacity he produced the background material for their on-line training course, and has been deeply involved in consultation with the Security Industry Authority and Skills for Security in respect of licensing for private investigators. He is also a qualified Legal Executive. In 2006 he was trained to deliver the Navigator Personal Development Programme for Men and delivers programmes ‘in-house’ for his police organisation.

Having also attended 5 Unleash the Power Within events, the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People Workshop, the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families Workshop and 5 years of Yes Group events, and having read a myriad of personal development literature, he is able to produce notes with a certain insightful clarity, and can occasionally expand and reframe on sometimes difficult concepts.

He is the author of ‘Tracing: An Investigators Guide to Finding Wanted and Missing Persons’, and the IPI’s ‘Manual for Professional Investigators’.
